Various welding methods for stainless steel welded pipes have their own advantages and disadvantages. How to improve the strengths and avoid weaknesses, combine several welding methods to form a new welding process, and meet the requirements of the quality and production efficiency of stainless steel welded pipes is a new trend in the development of stainless steel welded pipe technology. After several years of exploration and research, the combined welding process has made progress, and combined welding technology has been used in the production of stainless steel welded pipes in Japan, France and other countries. Combined welding methods include: argon arc welding + plasma welding, high frequency welding + plasma welding, high frequency preheating + three torch argon arc welding, high frequency preheating + plasma welding + argon arc welding. Combination welding can significantly increase the welding speed. The welded steel pipe is welded by high frequency preheating, and the weld quality of the welded pipe is equivalent to that of the conventional argon arc welding and plasma welding. The high-frequency preheating combination welding operation is simple, and the entire welding system is easy to realize automation. This combination is easy to connect with the existing high-frequency welding equipment, and has low investment cost and good efficiency.
