The magnetic field is the main reason why the welded pipe is magnetized to generate residual magnetism. It can be seen that the welder output grounding wire and the output welding wire wiring form have an important influence on the residual magnetism of the steel pipe. Therefore, the following main measures should be taken to solve the residual magnetism of the spiral welded pipe unit:


1. The grounding point of the welding machine output grounding wire should be selected to avoid the formation of the ring-shaped energizing coil. The magnetic field generated by the annular energizing coil is prevented from magnetizing the steel pipe.


2. The welding machine output grounding wire and the welding machine output welding wire should avoid the wiring close to the former and the plate as much as possible. Avoid the magnetization of the steel tube by avoiding the ringing magnetic field generated by the welding welder output ground wire and the welder output welding wire.


3. The welder output grounding wire and the welder output welding wire are routed together as much as possible. Since the welding output grounding wire and the welding machine output welding wire have opposite currents, they generate a circular magnetic field which can cancel each other and avoid the annular energizing coil. form. Thereby, the magnetic field generated by the welding current is greatly reduced, and the residual magnetism is further reduced.


In summary, the residual magnetism of the steel pipe can be greatly reduced from the source by means of reasonable wiring, etc., but it is impossible to eliminate the residual magnetism caused by the steel pipe itself. Therefore, after the steel pipe is taken off the line, the degaussing coil is added to the steel pipe conveying line for demagnetization, and the residual magnetism of the steel pipe can be reduced to some extent. Therefore, comprehensive analysis of the factors of steel tube remanence and corresponding measures can solve the problem of residual magnetism of steel pipes to a large extent.
