Flange Rolling Requirements

- May 10, 2018-

The flange is also known as the flange flange. Flanges are the parts that connect the pipe and the pipe and are used for the connection between the pipe ends. They are also used in the flange of the equipment for the connection between the two devices, such as the reducer flange. Flange connection or flange joint refers to the detachable connection of flanges, gaskets and bolts as a set of combined seal layouts.

The new technology of rolling and processing of flanges has become increasingly widespread from the late 1980s to the application of the finite element method around the late 1980s. Two thousand years later, computer intelligence computing technology has achieved rapid development. Computer simulation output technology is no longer limited to The old two-dimensional form, the application of three-dimensional three-dimensional new technology is growing. The application of new technologies not only increases profits, but also increases the dimensional accuracy and quality of the products.

The new technique of sizing rolling: Since there is no tool on the inner surface when using sizing rolling, the shape of the inner surface of the rolled material is not neat when the flange is rolled. When a three-roll mill is used, the inner surface of the rolled material has a hexagonal shape. After using the three-dimensional finite element method to simulate and calculate, the occurrence mechanism and corresponding method of this kind of inner-face angular phenomenon were studied. A substantially uniform wall thickness can be obtained when a close-to-orifice hole pattern closely resembling a perfect circle is used. However, when a hole pattern having an ellipticity of approximately 0.960 is used in a close-to-round shape, the inside hexagonal corner is more noticeable. The use of this new technology algorithm can predict the change in wall thickness during tensioning with a stretch reducer, and clarify the effect of roll profile characteristics and inter-stand tension on the flange.

New technology of extension rolling: disc rolling and rolling mills use plate and hole type rolls for rolling. Therefore, unlike plate rolling, there is a free deformation zone in the roll circumferential direction where the rolls and disks are not in contact. Since the free deformation zone is rolled on the next frame, it is important to predict the deformation including the free deformation zone in order to correctly understand the comprehensive characteristics of the disc rolling mill. Because of its high variability and particularly complex forecasting methods, if the old outdated technical algorithm is not enough, if it is possible, the simulated results will be unsatisfactory and will not reach the predetermined standard. In this case, high-precision, high-speed new technology and new algorithms emerged. Taking into account the shear deformation in the rolling direction, a new three-dimensional solid algorithm was developed using ordinary expanded plane deformation. From the experimental conclusions, the results of the simulation calculations are in line with expectations.
