Alloy steel pipe introduction

- May 30, 2018-

Alloy steel pipes can be recycled 100%, in line with the national strategy of environmental protection, energy conservation and resource conservation. The national policy encourages the expansion of the application of high-pressure alloy pipes. At present, the consumption of alloy pipes in China accounts for only half of the total amount of steel. The use of alloy pipes has expanded to provide a broader space for the development of the industry. According to the study of the expert group of the China Special Steel Association's alloy pipe branch, the demand for high-pressure alloy pipe long products in China will grow at an average annual rate of 10-12%.

The relationship between alloy tube and seamless tube is different

The alloy pipe is defined according to the production material (that is, the material). The tube is defined by the alloy as its name implies; and the seamless pipe is defined according to the production process (seamless seam), which is different from the seamless pipe. Sewed pipe, including straight seam welded pipe and spiral pipe.

The material of the alloy tube is roughly: 16-50Mn, 27SiMn, 40Cr, 12-42CrMo 16Mn 12Cr1MoV T91 27SiMn 30CrMo 15CrMo 20G Cr9Mo 10CrMo910 15Mo3 15CrMoV 35CrMoV 45CrMo, 15CrMoG, 12CrMoV, 45Cr, 50Cr, 45CrNiMo, and the like.
