Product Description

Wafer Double Disc Swing Check Valve is applicable to nominal pressures PN10～PN420, Class150～Class2500; nominal diameters DN15～DN1200, NPS1/2～48; working temperature -196°C～540°C To prevent the media from flowing backwards. By selecting different materials, the clip-on check valve can be applied to various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, strong oxidizing medium and urea in petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, light industry and food industries.

Feature

1. The wafer double disc swing check valve short face-to-face dimension.

2. The spring loaded double disc design creates a low cracking pressure and allows for the valve discs to close prior to any flow reversal minimizing water hammer and/or surges in the media.

3. Tension on the specially designed spring with extended spring legs allows the disc center section to lift off the seat prior to the outside edge opening preventing seat wear in the center “heel” section of the seating surface.

4. Standard elastomeric seats can produce zero leakage when correctly specified, loaded, and installed. Metal seating surfaces are precision machined and lapped to a mirror finish to provide a long lasting seal which meets or exceeds the API 598 leakage standard.

5. The retainerless design of the wafer double disc swing check valve has no body penetration, eliminating potential leak paths.

6. Allows for interchangeability of the hinge pin and stop pin.

7. Epoxy coating is standard.

8. Field serviceable without the need for special tools.
