Check valve

- Sep 16, 2019-

The check valve is a valve that automatically opens and closes depending on the force of the fluid itself. Its function is to prevent the medium from flowing backwards. It has many names, such as check valves, check valves, and single-flow valves. According to the structure, it can be divided into two categories.

(1) Lift type: The flap moves along the vertical centerline of the valve body. There are two types of check valves: one is horizontal, mounted on a horizontal pipe, the shape of the valve body is similar to that of a shut-off valve, and the other is vertical, mounted in a vertical pipe.

(2) Swing type: The valve disc rotates around the pin shaft. These valves are single, double and multi-lobed, but the principle is the same.

The suction bottom valve of the water pump suction pipe is a deformation of the check valve. Its structure is the same as that of the above two types of stop valves, except that its lower end is open to allow water to enter.
