The material of the tested iron plate welding flange is not guaranteed.


Required equipment

A set of manual welding equipment, a handle angle grinder, an electric hammer, a flat ruler.

Preparation before welding

1. Check the commissioning equipment to ensure the normal operation of the equipment; 2. Prepare the φ4.0J402 electrode for drying for one hour at 300 °C-350 °C.

Welding process

1. Assemble the vertebral body and the large flange according to the requirements of the drawings, and then divide the large flange into 8 equal parts on average. 2, welding because the flange is thicker, the groove is larger, so the use of segmental symmetry, multi-layer welding.

Weld quality

The weld strength is required to be at least the strength of the base metal. The surface of the weld is smooth and smooth, and there are no defects such as burn through, pores, welds, slag inclusions, undercuts, and insufficient welds. The residual height is less than 2mm.
